something different

yea.. haven been blogging for a long while coz life was so routine and boring where workdays = work and offdays = wii...

finally something diff last wk.. went penang and langkawi last week with family.. drove to penang.. stayed in grandma's place for the first nite and took ferry to langkawi early nxt morning.. the 3hrs ferry ride was just excrutiating...

went thru the photos taken and realized i din really take a lot of photos..

first day was nothing special, the usual, shop for duty free alcohol~! kekeke.... eat, shop, rest in hotel... whole day gone.. time for dinner.. did some homework via internet and decided to try this restaurant, fish farm restaurant, where u can fish your own fish~! best part is the the journey to the kelong... shiok... its a wooden bridge made from floating barrels.. mum missed out the fun and stayed in car due to phobia for the deep waters while me, dad and bro walked out to the sea~!



moi on my way back with my catch.. tot of taking the fish out of the bucket to take photo but its still alive and kicking and i wouldnt risk my dinner falling back into the deep ocean...



went for the cable car ride which started operating since 2004.. wasnt there on our last trip there ard 5 yrs ago.. but was so disappointed that they stopped operation due to strong winds and asked to call for queries 2-3 hrs later cos they oso dunno when they can resume.. so we wandered around the area..went to some small animal farms which have free entry.. keke...



eagle feasting on fresh fish.. and im serious... the fish is really fresh with crystal eyes and shiny skin..



walked around the area hoping the cable car resume operation soon... took some photos in the geopark.. nice place..





decided to leave the geopark and went to visit another tourist attraction just beside the cable car, the Seven Wells... climb until siao... damn tiring.. took more than 30min walking up the mountain...



halfway there.. by this time everyones covered in sweat..



finally reached the top.. nothing much there coz i've been to kota tinggi waterfall in johor and its much better there... but nonetheless its cool air and mountain spring water.. children and and bikini ang mo enjoyin one of the "wells" where legend speaks of faeries bathing in them.. trekked deeper up the waterfall that has only faint trekking tracks with bro and haf nicer scenery but did not bring camera along.. enjoyed soaking my feet and washing my face upstream.. while these guys are enjoying downstream.. kekeke...



went down short afterwards and called the cable car office and yea~! they will resume operation within 30min~! finally wish fulfilled... able to take the cable car that haf few records such as steepest gradient of 42 degrees and longest distance or dunno wat.. anywayz the ride was really heart-stopping... every bump and every sway makes u really uneasy when the ground in so far that u see nothing look down..





finally reached the top and was thrilled by the famous skywalk... this is the place where i can say, u've never been to langkawi if u've never walked the skywalk before..





realised tat i din take any photos of food we had there cause we tend to dig in once the food reach... wahahaha... but anyway one of the greatest enjoyment on this trip is still FOOD~! beer and other alcoholic drinks that are cheaper than coke.. great seafood at langkawi at cheap prices, big grouper, prawns, "lai4 niao4 xia1" (i dunno wat's tis called in english but it looks like a freaking alien but tastes damn good) and in penang themost original and bestest char kway teow, hokkien prawn mee, penang laksa, curry mee, oyster ommelette.... woohh~ my stomachs feeling hungry juz by the tot of these food... tat explains why i din take much photos of myself on the trip coz im sooo fat rite now.. hmmz... same new yr resolution again tis yr i guess..

our hoots from langkawi... actually we smuggled more than the limit... 2 cartons of heineken~! wahahaha... and cheap baileys tats cheaper than the duty free shop in airport of sg.. yeah~! wanted to get johnny walker too but bought too much le.. can leave these until cny to enjoy le...





back to boring work... looking forward to cny~!

my life has gotten so routine and lifeless tat i seriously dunno wat haf i done for the past few months except earning money and repaying my debt... satisfied with minor entertainment in my life like watching dvds and playing pc games to make my free time disappear... (oh and something cool recently, my Wii~!!!! its juz soo fun)... im juz in my own world, going round and round... no direction to anywhere, juz round and round the track...

life is like running on the track... u can walk or you can sprint... but u still go in circles and end up nowhere...

inflation...

came to realized tat how bad inflation is... went for jog, after jog went buy bread for breakfast tmr, makan dinner.... $10 gone... another nite went CP dinner, then buy bread plus desert from crystal jade(cheap cheap after 8:30pm)... $10 gone... went lunch wif colleagues, my turn to pay for drinks... another $10 gone... im like spending abt $20 daily, for normal stuff like transport and food...
haiz~.. food plus e chocs and misc snacks i buy for my family occasionally... tat's like $500 a mth?! study loan 1k a mth... pc loan plus hp bills 250... rental 250... mum n dad 500... basic stuff already add up to 2.4k... holy cow... how to spend on luxury items sia... i cant bear to part my money for a nin Wii tat im drooling over... i came to realized tat i can't live without my current paycheck... if im going to leave this company i feel tat im bankrupt...
guess tat i shld cut down more on food... coz im feeling the effects inflation... in my body... O_o

re-direction

hasn't written anything in my 'self-motivating notebook' for a long time le... kinda became a lost sheep since moved to new dept with new jobrole...

wa so late liao... needa go slp le.. dun think wanna continue typing... anw i've re-directioned myself... steered my ship back on track and can chiong full steam ahead... kwel~

not working in nite shift anymore, life's great... but working more hours and earning lot lesser, life sux...

maybe tat's juz as buddha's saying tat we are all here to suffer until we attain enlightenment...

tis new yr has not been a good start for me altho i tried my best to enjoy wat i haf...

chu-er nite started work... damn screwed up... morning kena big boss scolding for like dunno how long... and he's e type tat tears u down to ur bone... nvm... hope 2nd nite wud be better... everything went smooth until morning when im preparing to go home then my direct boss called to say there's a major screw up... not my entire fault but as a superior i'll haf to take e blame n not my sub... guessed tat im getting infamous soon...

nxt day go somewer to clear my mind of work... nice place...



as u can see im above the clouds... yea... went genting...

dad won 1k, mom won 0.5k... nice...

i lost 500 bucks... bet wat lose wat... wat a year for me...

anywayz... saw a big big mozzie at genting...



then went to e temple at genting to pray pray on e way back... its been more than a decade since i visited tat temple... was amazed at how grand it had become.. comparable to kek lok si in penang... hope guanyin ma and chin swee zhu shi can po bi wa haf a smooth smooth year ahead...

16hours

juz tried working for 16hrs... maybe... from around 830pm to 130pm... im so blur right now tat i cannot even count... wan slp but scared will juz drop down and diiiunno wat time will wake up... think most prob will skip dinner... sad i cant go home... needa go ICA to extent my temp EP... kuku shiti ICA ppl process my PR so long then baby who apply a mth later than already me got it... damn it.. slpn at wc's place... theres nothing wrg with slping here.... but i missed my bed at home and aircon~... guesz tat i better slp soonz... i dunno wat am i typing alrealikohbnol.m,.adb............z.zzz.zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
